It’s been over 5 years since Quimisa has been selling lubricating oils for the textile industry. Its purpose has always been recommending the lowest amounts of soluble oil as long as they will not impair the good performance of the looms. The entire process is followed-up to avoid problems of oil removal at the dying mills.
On one occasion, an important Brazilian manufacturer called Quimisa for a solution to problems in this area: the oil was not coming off at the dying mill, no matter how much emulsifiers/emulgents were used. Upon that condition, a question was raised: isn’t the oil amount too small, since the dirt is the same and much more concentrated? That might be the reason for the difficulty to remove the oil.
After some studies and testing, the amount of oil was changed from 750 ml to 1100 ml per day on each loom, which solved the problem. Based upon that, all of Quimisa’s knitting oils have been revised and their recommended quantities became more fair and suitable.
