Chemistry has been part of our lives for millions of years. The baker is an alchemist when he bakes the cake, the viticulturist when he prepares the wine, the weaver when he makes the fabric; thus, whoever responsible for making something useful and preparing for human use everything which grows in nature is an alchemist.
